I became a psychologist because I wanted to help people be successful and to have a positive impact on organizations and communities.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with amazing and talented clients, colleagues, and organizations. My goal has been to contribute to their professional growth, development, and success.

Born and raised in Ohio, I never expected my career to take me to Florida, Texas, and Michigan before returning to the Buckeye State. I have enjoyed the places I have lived and worked, the cultures I have experienced, and most of all the people I have met along the way.

World class organizations are characterized by exceptional leaders, resilience, and great teams. Services that I offer to support these three areas include executive coaching, team effectiveness, culture change, talent assessments, CEO succession, leadership development, emotional intelligence, growth mindset, applied improvisation, appreciative inquiry, and accelerating learning in organizations.

Learn, grow, lead provides a helpful template for adapting and thriving during disruption and uncertainty. During these times there is a critical need to develop resilient and agile leaders, teams, and organizations. Key success factors for creating a resilient organization include encouraging experimentation, engaging staff at all levels, creating a shared vision to align the organization, and adapting quickly based upon new information and insights. Key success factors for leaders include demonstrating curiosity and open-mindedness, embracing a growth mindset, building great teams, leveraging emotional intelligence, and adapting to uncertainty and change.

For over 30 years, I have consulted with multiple industries and organizations: healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, retail, energy & utilities, not-for-profits, family businesses, and professional services firms. I began my career as a health psychologist, consulting with medical patients, families, physicians, and allied healthcare staff. I served as a past president of the Society of Consulting Psychology where my central theme was building community in organizations.

Clients describe me as pragmatic, curious, collaborative, supportive, intuitive, and result focused. I draw from consulting best practices and professional experience to co-create customized solutions which support my clients’ strategy, business goals, and culture. My approach is to build a deep understanding of the future vision of leaders and organizations. My role with clients is as a trusted advisor, partner, and coach.

On a personal note, I enjoy learning, laughter, travel, photography, fresh strawberry pie, and Latin dancing. I perform with local Central Ohio Improv teams.
